Starz in our eyes!
Alas! Limelight Events logo is ready!! Three months and 2 graphic designers later and we finally have a Corporate identity.
Next step is to proceed with printing the business cards. I have already sent them to the printers' so I should have them early next week.
I am very excited as my hopes and dreams are finally materialising into a very promising future.

To purple or not to purple
A week has passed since I assigned to Jim (a friend and a good graphic designer) the design of Limelight's logo. Although I have always visualised Limelight Services logo in a Royal purple colour, since this was the shade of purple worn by Kings in medieval Europe, also, because people with purple auras are said to have a love of ritual and ceremony.
However, having looked at some of the draft designs Jim sent me (who keeps insisting that I should not use the colour purple, since in some Countries it is the colour worn when in mourning) he used a graphite grey colour for the lettering and an elegant shade of Gold for the actual logo. I will admit I quite liked it! The whole effect was elegant yet modern and minimal which is exactly how I have visualised Limelight's logo. I called him a couple of times to ask him to change the design of the logo since it reminded me of a tennis ball. I want something simple yet eye-catching. The problem with Jim is that he is an extremely busy guy and I have to chase after him in order to get things done on time. At least it gives me an extra little time to decide what colours I want to use on the logo.
To purple or not to purple, that is the question...
